Dear Parents and Students,

Please allow me to introduce myself. My name is Minister A.V. Rauf and I am pleased to have the opportunity to serve as the Dean of Students at Living Word Christian Academy.

As Dean of Students, I will help promote close working relationships between parents, students and school staff to maintain a strong, vibrant school culture. I will also oversee school student management which includes student behavior.

I want to extend a warm welcome to all new and returning students. I hope you will have a rewarding and successful academic year. My office and the office of the School Counselor are here to support your success as a member of the Living Word Christian Academy community.

Living Word Christian Academy is committed to providing a strong school culture of achievement, providing the proper discipline, structures, character development, and mentorship to strengthen the impact of instruction for all students enrolled.

As mentioned in the LWCA Parent Handbook, policies and procedures are necessary to promote a safe school environment that pleases God and reflects our commitment to apply Scriptures to everyday situations.
Proverbs 22:6 says: Train up a child in a way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it.

It is understood that the school and the home cooperate as partners in the implementation of disciplinary measures. All students at LWCA will be held accountable for their behavior and shall conduct themselves in keeping with their level of maturity, showing regard for established authority and the rights and welfare of others.

Please read the LWCA parent handbook in order to become familiar with the school’s policies. Feel free to contact me if you may have any questions and/or concerns.

I am looking forward to working with you and am trusting that our students will have a prosperous and life changing school year here at Living Word Christian Academy; A Kingdom school where Jesus is LORD.

In His Service,

A.V. Rauf
